Blues hoping for favourable conditions

Leek Town have a scheduled league fixture away at Ilkeston tomorrow, and will be hoping that the game goes ahead despite the snow that is forecast.

Leek's last action was their 7-1 drubbing at Carlton Town
The recent cold snap has meant that the Blues have played just once in three weeks - that being the 7-1 humiliation away at Carlton - and currently face the biggest fixture backlog in the division.
Their inactivity has seen them slip down to ninth in the table and, despite having games in hand on every team currently above them, the chance of capturing a play-off spot is looking ever more remote.
That is mainly due to the sheer number of fixtures - seventeen in the league alone - that they have to somehow fit into the remaining twelve weeks of the season.
Providing tomorrow's clash goes ahead - snow is forecast in the East Midlands area- third placed Ilkeston will provide a tough test.
They are six points off leaders Carlton Town, but sit comfortably in the play-off places and have been a free scoring outfit this season - their total of 63 goals scored is amongst the best in the division.
The break in action does mean that Leek have a virtually fully fit squad to choose from, should the game beat the weather.
