Hat trick from tea room staff

THE White Hart Tea Room in Leek is holding a Mad Hatter's Tea Day today as part of a five-day charity fund-raiser.

All this week, the award-winning tea room is raising money for The Sam Plank Trust and they are holding a Mad Hatter Tea Party Day today and any customers who go into the tea room wearing a 'mad hat' will be entitled to a free hot drink.

Tea room proprietor Julie Fox said: "We wanted a fun element to the fund-raiser and make it easy for people of all ages to get involved.

"Holding a Mad Hatter's Tea Day seemed the obvious choice."
