Haunting Fundraiser Set to benefit Dougie Mac

A spook-filled fundraising event in Leek, is set to aid the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

Anita Rawlingson and her friend Claire, have organised the event at The Swan pub on St. Edwards Street on Saturday February 4th starting at 8pm.

They are aiming to raise over £1000 for the Hospice, with donations asked for on the door.

The evening will feature a disco and auction with prizes including a limousine ride for eight people and beauty treatments and restaurant meals for two.

It will end with a ghost hunt where some guests will be sponsored to be locked in the cellar.

Zoe Hollingsworth, Senior Fundraising Development Manager said,

"We are delighted that Anita and Claire have chosen to raise funds for the Hospice. The donations will help to continue to provide the care, we are renowned for across the area."
