Wintry conditions set to continue

January may have entered it's final days, but the wintry conditions are set to continue for a while yet.

Although the worst of the weather - heavy snowfall is forecast for some parts of the UK this week - looks set to miss us, the Met Office still have a 'Cold Weather Alert' in place for our area.

Overnight frosts are going to continue on, while forecasters say that by Wednesday, temperatures will struggle to climb above zero.

There is a chance of snowfall on higher ground, although the wintry showers are likely to be infrequent.
